Want to help?

Jesus said, “Freely you have received, freely give… “  We obey this way:   No plates, No baskets, No begging, No sales, No guilt!

“But when you give, let not your left hand know what your right hand does:  That your gift may be in secret: and your Father which sees in secret …will reward you.”  While, giving anonymously is not possible in an electronic world, we honor your privacy and your gift to YHVH by not sending or posting personal acknowledgements.

TRI is not a commercial venture. We do not sell things, ask for, or simply collect money.  However, TRI will receive your tithes (which are given to the LORD) to continue the ministry.  If you do not understand tithing, in order for you and TRI to be blessed by your giving. Learn first, then tithe.

1)  First Tithes: Ten percent of your personal increase is for the work of ministry. The fiscal spending of money for the ministry all comes from “First Tithes” sent to this ministry.

2)  Second Tithes: Ten percent of your personal increase is to be set aside for the expenses of the Feasts of YHVH : (your travel – food costs, etc.)  The material needs of the Feasts such as tents, tables, facility costs, etc. come from “Second Tithe” sent for this purpose. When this ordinance is followed, there is never an excuse that the Feasts cannot be kept or attended.

3) Third Tithes: The third tithe is set aside to give to those in need. This tithe amounts to only 3.3% of annual increase. The Levite is mentioned along with the widows and orphans, because they had no inheritance and owned nothing. They had no land, no possessions and made their “living” by the kindness and obedience of YHVH’s people.  The Levite, whose life was given to service, owned nothing; yet he had needs like everyone else. This is why we read in Deuteronomy 12:19 “Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest upon the earth.”  It may seem that it is not enough to alleviate the needs of the poor. However, if everyone does helps, it may be more than is needed for the “widows indeed”, the fatherless and the Levite.

Our commitment at Think Red Ink Ministries is to not spend the tithe for personal items. No one takes and will never take a salary from the tithe. The needs of the Levite are to come from the third tithe — not the first. Please designate your gifts accordingly (First, Second, or Third Tithe).

Any money sent to Think Red Ink for use in this ministry is considered a gift. As a matter of deeply held religious belief, any gift, contribution or donation to Think Red Ink, Think Red Ink Ministries, Red Letter Academy or any other named work or purpose associated with the ministry should be considered a faith-based donation to a church (religious organization).  Although Think Red Ink Ministries operates as a New Mexico non-profit corporation, the ministry does not have a 501(c)(3) designation.

All contributions provide only  “intangible religious benefits” (language from IRSC) to givers. All contributions to this ministry should be considered as gifts, tithes and offerings to our God, YHVH. They will be considered and handled as such by this ministry.  We adequately fulfill the criteria laid out for a “church” found in the IRS tax code. Although there are provisions in the tax code for churches such as ours, you should consult with your tax professional to determine if your gifts to this ministry are tax deductible.
